Tell Me Something Tuesday #1

Tell me something Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Cambria Hebert over at www.cambriahebert.com ... Go check it out because she has an awesome blog!

This is also an exciting post for me because this will be my very first time at participating in a meme! (I know, I know... where have I been?! And yes, I learn so very slowly...) So without further ado; this weeks question is:

*drum roll*

If you could spend a day with a book character who would it be and what would you do?

My Answer:

This is such a fab question. It's taken me a while to consider this...
There are many characters that pop up in the fuzz that is my brain but I keep coming back to one.

I think I would have to spend it with Death...

That is; Death and the Death of  Rats from Terry Pratchett's Discworld.

Crazy choice I know; but he makes me laugh so much with his innocence and misunderstandings about what it means to be human. He tries so hard to be 'human' but it never goes quite right for him.

If I was to end up spending the day with Death; I would hope to get a ride on Binky his horse and meet his poor old butler Albert.

I just think chilling out with this character would be lots of fun... Probably hard work too, what with his job and everything. He's a very busy... person? Skeleton? Erm... Character?!

Who would you pick and why?
Happy blog hopping!

    1. Thank yooooooooooou!
I really love this meme Cambria, it's a great idea and it made me want to join in! (last week's animal Q was great!)

I have got a lot to learn about blogging in general! I have come across some beautifully put together blogs that have left me thinking "Wow! How did they do that?!" I'm just bumbling my way along!

What I admire about Pratchett's work is how he managed to create a whole world and bring it to life with his characters. It's witty and brilliantly funny, I hope you get a chance to read his work.

      Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Hi Schez! So nice to meet you. Welcome to the little meme. It is a fun one and unique, too. I always get a great response on my blog to my TMST posts.
Death, what a unique answer. I haven't read Terry Pritchett yet, He is on my list, since I enjoy Neil Gaiman. This sounds like a very entertaining book, perfect for Halloween. I am going to go look it up! Thanks for sharing! Happy Tuesday!

    1. Hi Red Ink!
Thanks for stopping by! Terry Pratchett's work is so much fun; he has given us a lot of fantasy novels but his Discworld novels will always be a favourite. I hope you enjoy it. :-)
